The Art Gallery of Ontario Opening |

Multimedia Staging and Pandoras Box were proud to be involved in the Grand Opening ceremonies of the newly renovated Art Gallery of Ontario. All videos still images and graphics for the event were programmed though Pandoras Box and triggered via DMX through a GrandMA lighting console, which fed 3 seperate video projection screens as well as LED walls. The event had a huge line up and was a great success. What made Pandoras Box the choice for this application was the use of it's timeline to record all media, audio and lighting cues. The Art Gallery wanted to welcome everyone, do a grand opening presentation and then open the doors to the main public, to wander the main hall and the rest of the gallery. As each new crowd entered the building they were greeted by the recording of the original ceremony as well as videos and other images related the grand opening and the exhibits. Automation of all these components was done seemlessly on the Pandoras Box timeline.
