Multimedia Staging's awareness and concern for the environment have helped us not only in our day to day operations, but also in the products we choose and offer to our customers for their events.  Digital signage, in particular, low power consumption LCD and plasma monitors and displays, replace printed signage and looks great.  It can be changed and updated on the spot and has many "green" benefits.  Multimedia Staging's CRT televisions were replaced years ago with LCD monitors and Plasma monitors.  
           For set options and even trade show booths our Superstructure walls are reusable, can be made into many different styles and shapes, can be dramatically lit or projected on.  Superstucture is made of fully recyclable metals and plastics. 
          The lighting industry continues to come out with more efficient stage light fixtures, but the big news is in LED lighting.  For Multimedia Staging, what use to be 500 or 1000 watt up light lighting fixtures have all been replaced with less than 10 watt LED lights.  Instead of 2 or 3 lights on one standard circuit we can now run 35, a considerable green benefit considering how many lights can be used in an event.  It is really a matter of time before more and more conventional lights are replaced with LED's and Multimedia Staging continues to explore all the newest options by keeping in contact with suppliers and attending industry trade shows, showcasing the latest, greatest and greenest. 

Simple offerings and ideas with surprising impact also include things like on site Duplex printers, to use both sides of a page for handout material, paperless online registration for attendees, collecting attendee ID badges at the end of a conference to reuse them in future, having trade show people swipe their information onto your database so you can email product info instead of printed brochures.  Using USB flash drives instead of CD's and DVD's to transport and store data.....every little bit helps!
