About Center Stage AV

Center Stage AV was borne out of the need to be something better than what was being offered to customers in the area of live events. From our humble beginnings in 1997, we have strived to be better by utilizing the latest in leading edge technologies, offering competitive pricing and by exceeding our customers' expectations. Where other companies have failed we have succeeded by putting our customers' needs first and offering tailor made solutions to fit any budget. Our extensive audio visual inventory and experienced team will make any event a successful one!

AGO Grand opening – This is a photograph of a stage that was setup in the Art Gallery of Ontario for its grand reopening. There is a large screen filled with the AGO logo in the center and two smaller screens with the logo on the sides. To the right of the main screen are dignitaries seated on the stage and the left of the screen is the presenter. In front of the stage is a large audience.

Center Stage AV utilizes professional state-of-the-art inventory in all areas of audio, video and lighting. While leading edge technology is important, we believe that it is our experienced personnel that will make the difference to your live event. With over twenty-five years of individual experience in the industry, the two founders of Center Stage AV understand that every project is unique. Our creative teams treat your event as if it were their own. On your next project, let Center Stage AV deliver an exciting and successful event that will delight you and your audience!

Center Stage AV awareness and concern for the environment is not only reflected in our day to day operations, but also in the products we choose to offer our customers. Digital signage, in particular, with low power consumption LCD and plasma monitor displays have replaced typical printed signage and delivers a stronger visual impact. It can be changed and updated on the spot and has many "green" benefits

For set options and even trade show booths our Superstructure walls are reusable and can be made into many different styles and shapes. The added benefit is that they can also be dramatically lit or projected on. Superstructure is made of fully recyclable metals and plastics.

The lighting industry continues to come out with more efficient stage light fixtures, but the big news is in LED lighting. For Center Stage AV what used to be 2 or 3 conventional lights on one standard circuit, is now a run of 35 LED lights. A considerable green benefit considering how many lights can be used in an event. It is really a matter of time before more and more conventional lights are replaced with LED's. Center Stage AV continues to explore all the newest options by keeping in contact with suppliers and attending industry trade shows, showcasing the latest, greatest and greenest.

Partnering with other companies we can offer almost completely paperless conference and trade show solutions, where schedules, show floor maps, speaker info and even host city info can be delivered straight to attendee smart phones. Simple offerings and ideas with surprising impact include: On site Duplex printers that use both sides of a page for handout material; Paperless online registration for attendees; Recycling attendee ID badges at the end of a conference, to reuse them in future; Having trade show attendees swipe their information onto your database so you can email product info instead of printed brochures; And utilising USB flash drives instead of CD's and DVD's to transport and store data to help cut down on waste. Every little bit helps!

Getting the job done right and with the right equipment is of course the goal of any event. But when you hire a company to carry out that task, you also need to know that they will perform that job safely. This includes not only the technicians on site, but the attendees, the presenters, and the event and venue staff. Taking chances with inexperienced technicians and companies that cut corners can cost far more than the event itself. Center Stage AV takes safety seriously. Tripping hazards are secured, backstage areas are marked and lit, technicians operating lifts are licensed and riggers are certified and equipped with proper safety equipment. Center Stage Audio Visuals follows and reviews the Workman's Health and Safety policies and has an excellent WSIB rating with no lost time accidents since we started business in 1997.
